Final Semester

Well the time has finally come and I have entered the final semester of my undergrad career. I have a final thesis paper to do along with two communication classes. So this is a time that is sixteen years in the making so I should be elated right. Well, I am but I am also a little apprehensive because I will no longer be a student and I'll just be a regular person. Oh well time to get old...

Resolution update

So..The New Year is well under way and with less than a dozen days torn off of the calendar I have fallen short on one of my resolutions/goals. I foolishly decided that I would forgo television for pursuit of loftier interests. Obviously this was crap. It took all of about three days before my wife protested.
I still plan to hold true to the others…

Ha ha ha ha!

The New Year is here.

Well, the new year is here and while essentially the turning of a calendar page is an abritrary moment in time, many use it as a mark point to try (and usually fail) to begin new or cease old habits. Like I have been rambling on about, I am going to buy into this practice and set some new parameters for myself.
If I tried to list all of things topics that I would like to delve into this post would be so long that even I would fall asleep typing it. So instead I am going to streamline my ongoing projects. I have maybe twenty books that I have started and not finished. There are several subjects that I still plan to learn one day...however....I am making no headway as I am trying to learn all of them at one time. One on the outside looking in might think I am disorganized or easily distracted....

What,

oh yeah I was typing, sorry 'bout that. Anyway, I am going to eliminate many things. I am instead going to chose to focus on one thing at a time. Once I have satisfied my curiosity I will put away that particular hobby completely and move to the next.

I am not extremely hopeful but it's worth a shot.

Oh, and I am still going to give up television.

Happy New Year all.
